Heavy rain is possible Tuesday for Sarnia-Lambton.
Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning for the region advising of rainfall in excess of 50 millimetres with isolated amounts approaching 75 mm.
Residents were reminded that heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. The national weather agency said there was also the risk of localized flooding in low-lying areas.
The rainfall warning ended just before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rainfall warnings are issued when 50 mm of rain or more is expected within 24 hours.
