Kids Funfest returns to Canatara Park

Children and families will be able to connect with local organizations at Kids Funfest.

The event, Saturday, August 10, highlights local family-oriented programs and services that serve those under 13-years-old.

There will be interactive zones offering information on each service and a free activity.

Some of the activities include archery, painting, interactive weightlifting, STEM learning and top shot hockey.

"Local groups are hosting an array of activities to help kids stay active, learn and foster their creativity. It's a great day to get out and enjoy the park while learning more about all there is to do for kids in our community," said Krissy Glavin, Manager of Parks and Recreation.

Kids Funfest is on from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and includes live entertainment at the Canatara Park Bandshell.

Full details are posted on the City of Sarnia's website.
