Sarnia police nabbed an alleged break and enter suspect Thursday evening.

Police were called to a Kathleen Avenue home, west of Indian Road, at around 7:15 p.m.

A homeowner had reported a suspect in their backyard who had broken into their home.

Officers arrived to find the alleged suspect pushing a blue motorcycle through a nearby parking lot.

Police said the suspect began to fight with police while resisting arrest. With help from additional units, the 21-year-old suspect was subdued.

Further investigation revealed the motorcycle had been reported stolen earlier that day from a College Avenue home.
