Two people wanted by Sarnia police were among three individuals arrested during a suspicious vehicle stop in North Middlesex on Friday, August 16.
Just before 9a.m., officers from Middlesex and Lambton OPP were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle on William Street in Parkhill.
The vehicle had left the scene prior to police arrival, but returned a short time later and a traffic stop was initiated.
An investigation revealed the driver was wanted out of Sarnia and placed under arrest without incident.
Police allege a quantity of illicit drugs was observed inside the vehicle, at which time the passenger was placed under arrest without incident.
A third individual, a 21-year-old of no fixed address, was located in the residence and placed under arrest after it was determined they were also wanted out of Sarnia.
Police seized just over 50 grams of suspected methamphetamine from the vehicle.
Police said the 25-year-old driver from Corunna and a 40-year-old passenger of Parkhill were charged with drug possession and trafficking.
They were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court in late September.
