The Sexual Assault Survivors Centre Sarnia-Lambton will be welcoming the community at its new downtown location.
On Friday, the public is being invited to the centre's reopening and re-branding celebration.
There will be tours, the opportunity to meet staff, hear about its programs and there will be games with refreshments.
"We're going to show everybody our new sign, our new name and try to connect with people, new and people who have been really loyal and supportive to us," said Executive Director Chantel Butterfield.
She added there will also be colour and atmosphere changes to the building.
Butterfield said the decision to do a rebrand came after some strategic planning.
"We saw that we needed to grow and develop a new brand identity while still honouring the history and relevance of what exists now," she said.
According to Butterfield, going through the rebrand was one of the outcomes through the strategic plan.
She said there are some other things the organization wants to focus on.
"We also want to continue to get out there and have the people who have access to support their organizations have us back, so identify some new community partners and organizations we can help with our education program," Butterfield said.
The Sexual Assault Survivors Centre moved its services from its East Street location to 145 Christina Street North in February.
Butterfield said the move did not impact their services.
"We still continue to offer all of our services. You can walk in today and see people and say hi," she said.
The open house will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
