Doors open across Lambton County this Saturday

A chance to explore some of Lambton County's most fascinating and historically significant sites is being offered on Saturday.

Free, exclusive, behind-the-scenes access is being offered as part of a Doors Open event.

Lambton County Museums and Archives Marketing and Events Coordinator Jessica Stevenson said she's "thrilled to offer this unique opportunity to discover the incredible history that’s all around us."

“Lambton County has such a rich heritage, and Doors Open allows people to connect with the stories that have shaped our community over the past 175 years," said Stevenson.

This year's event has 33 participating locations, from historic homes to heritage sites, across the county's 11 member municipalities.

Doors Open Lambton County will be held September 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
