Ticket sales expanded for World U17 Hockey Challenge

Ticket sales have been expanded for the highly anticipated World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, coming to Sarnia-Lambton next month.

Mini ticket packages for Pool A & B games and the highly anticipated medal round games are now on sale.

Full tournament packages were available as of September 10.

The tournament will take place November 1 to 9, and will feature fierce competition among some of the world's top hockey nations, including Czechia, Sweden, Finland, USA, and our Canadian Red and White teams.

Exhibition games are set for November 1 at 7 p.m.

Team Canada Red will face off against Sweden in Petrolia, Canada White will battle the USA in Lambton Shores, and Finland and Czechia will compete at Progressive Auto Sales Arena (PASA) in Sarnia.

Those looking to purchase tickets for exhibition games in Lambton Shores and Petrolia will be directed to do so through Ticketscene.

All Sarnia tournament games will be played at PASA, and fans will be directed to the Sarnia Sting ticketing site or can visit the Sarnia Sting box office.

Prices range from $210 to $265 for adults, and from $140 to $175 for kids.

The experience will also include a FanFest that will feature games, activities, trophies, and hall of fame displays.

Tourism Sarnia-Lambton said it's a great chance to witness the future stars of hockey showcase their skills and passion for the game.

They're also inviting local businesses and organizations to explore partner opportunities for the tournament.

Sarnia also hosted the tournament back in 2014.

Sting forward Ryan Brown represented Canada Red at the 2023 event in Charlottetown, which saw Canada White beat Team USA 2-1 in overtime.
