Fentanyl, cocaine seized from Sarnia Airbnb

Nearly $35,000 worth of drugs were seized from an Airbnb on Nelson Street in Sarnia.

The Sarnia Police Service Major Case Action Team (MCAT) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at the home in the early morning hours of October 11.

Police said they confiscated 161.35 grams of fentanyl, 89.35 grams of cocaine, $6,130 in cash, a digital scale and three cell phones.

The estimated street value of the drugs is $34,925.

Jahquoe Blair-Gooden, 18 of Scarborough, was held for bail charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

"Sarnia police remain committed to tirelessly identifying and apprehending illicit drug suppliers in our community," said Deputy Chief Ron Hansen. "We will continue to work diligently to protect our neighbourhoods and ensure the safety and well-being of our citizens."
