Surveillance photos of a suspect have been published by Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers, as the organization tries to help catch a suspect wanted for several theft and mischief occurrences in the city.
The program -- which gathers tips about crimes and criminals -- says there have been 11 occurrences of mischief, theft, and property damage at Bell Canada sites over the past several weeks.
The incidents are being highlighted as the Crime of the Week.
Numerous Bell pedestals were vandalized and a Bell Canada property was entered, where a shed ended up being destroyed by fire.
No one was injured in the fire on Michigan Avenue on September 27, but Sarnia police are investigating it as a suspicious blaze.
Officers are hoping to identify a suspect captured on surveillance footage.
The white male is described as being middle-aged, with a slim tall build and brown hair. He was seen wearing a red and black striped shirt and jeans.
Anyone with information on these occurrences, or who can identify the male in the photos, is asked to call Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit tips online at www.p3tips.com.
Crime Stoppers said you will remain completely anonymous and could receive a cash reward for your information.
