The best businesses across Lambton County were once again celebrated.
The Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce held its 34th Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (OBAA) on Friday at the Dante Club in Sarnia.
Over 300 business owners, community leaders, and guests took part in the event.
Taking home the large, medium, and small businesses of the year are Cabot Canada Ltd, Mainstreet Credit Union, and Vibe Community Connections respectively.
Other businesses to take home awards include Women’s Interval Home, Lisa Isaac HR Professionals, TransAlta, LaSalle Agri, and Great Lakes Refill Company.
Duncan Viragos won Entrepreneur of the Year, Tarin Oxley was named Member of the Year, Crystal Hordyk received the Excellence in Customer Service award, and the Young Professional Award was given to Jenna Horton.
“These remarkable businesses and individuals represent the heart of Sarnia Lambton’s business ecosystem. They exemplify the dedication and innovation that make our community thrive,” said the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce in a release.
In total, 169 businesses and people were nominated for awards.
