Stunt driver stopped by OPP

A Sarnia driver is without their vehicle temporarily, after allegedly driving more than 50 kilometres per hour over the speed limit.

Lambton OPP said officers conducting traffic enforcement on Kimball Road in St. Clair Township Monday spotted a speeding vehicle just after 12:30 p.m.

Police said the vehicle was clocked travelling at over 130 km/h in an 80km/h zone.

The 51-year-old driver was charged with stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

Their licence was suspended for 30 days and their vehicle impounded for two weeks.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
