One man was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a stabbing early Sunday morning.
Sarnia police responded to a weapons call just before 3:50 a.m. at the intersection of Kathleen Avenue and Indian Road.
When officers arrived on scene, a 25-year-old man was found with alleged stab wounds to the leg, back, abdomen and hand.
Police said a 31-year-old man was seen exiting a Kathleen Avenue home, and was positively identified as the suspect and arrested.
He was charged with aggravated assault, uttering threats to cause bodily harm and weapons dangerous and held for bail.
Police said the victim and suspect are known to each other and the weapon used has been recovered.
The Criminal Investigations Division has taken over the investigation.
