Operation Gift Card reaching out for donations

Operation Gift Card is accepting donations geared toward children and teens, for Christmas for Everyone.

The annual Christmas hamper program is carried out through the not-for-profit, which provides toys and food hampers to families in need across rural Lambton County.

You can drop off gift cards at Blackburn Media on London Road Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Monday, November 25.

Donations can also be dropped off at the Corunna licence office on Lyndoch Street, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hampers are usually distributed seven to 10 days before Christmas with the help of local fire departments.

In 2022, Christmas for Everyone delivered over 430 hampers across rural Lambton.
