A 63-year-old Sarnia woman is facing an additional count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 after a search warrant was carried out last month.
As part of an ongoing investigation, members of the Major Case Action Team (MCAT) identified a storage locker on Devine Street associated with the woman.
When they searched it on October 31, over $130,000 in Canadian currency and almost $150 in US currency was located.
Police believe the money to be procees from drug trafficking.
The woman was arrested again on November 21 and held for a bail hearing.
Sarnia police ask anyone with information on individuals trafficking illegal drugs to call them, or Crime Stoppers at 519-332-TIPS (8477).
