Tools valued at over $14K stolen from Watford business

Lambton OPP are investigating a break-in at a Watford business where tools valued at over $14,500 were stolen.

Officers were called to a business on Industrial Drive on November 12.

OPP said three unknown suspects arrived at the property shortly after 4:10 a.m. in a white full-size cargo van and broke into the business.

Police said two people wore white coveralls -- resembling those commonly worn by painters -- while the third individual wore dark pants with a light-coloured jacket.

The cargo van has two side windows on the passenger side and full white panels with no windows on the driver's side. Police said the van also had a burnt-out headlight on the driver's side.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
