Snow squalls cancel school buses in parts of Lambton County

Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for north and east Lambton.

The national weather agency said lake effect snow squalls off Lake Huron will continue to affect the area from Grand Bend to Port Franks through Tuesday morning.

Snowfall accumulations of 20 to 40 centimetres are possible, particularly around Grand Bend.

On Monday, school buses in Zone 1 operated by Chatham-Kent Lambton Administrative School Services were cancelled due to the inclement weather.

In London, Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning with local snowfall accumulations possibly exceeding 40 cm by Tuesday morning.

Environment Canada warns snow could be heavy at times, resulting in reduced visibility making travel difficult.

Motorists are advised to adjust your driving accordingly.
