Environment Canada has issued a blowing snow advisory for north and east Lambton County.
A low pressure system will move into the area Wednesday, bringing snow and winds gusting up to 70 km/h.
The national weather agency said the area can expect very poor to near zero visibility at times in snow and blowing snow, especially for areas that recently received fresh snow.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.
Motorists are urged to slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
