Sting's losing streak continues in Ottawa

The Sarnia Sting suffered a 6-1 loss to the 67's in Ottawa Friday night.

After a scoreless first period, Ottawa's Zach Houben and Will Gerrior would each hit the back of the net for a 2-0 lead early in the second.

Sarnia cut the deficit to one on Ryan Brown’s fourth goal of the season.

The 67’s closed the game out with four straight goals.

Sting goalie Nick Surzycia made 26 saves in net.

The Sarnia Sting travel to Kingston Sunday afternoon to face the Frontenacs. Puck drop is at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
