Lambton OPP say a 22-year-old Petrolia resident is scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on Wednesday, to speak to charges following a weekend disturbance.
Officers responded to an address on Petrolia Line at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 8.
An investigation revealed the accused allegedly assaulted two unknown individuals and attempted to steal one of the victim's vehicles.
Police said the accused fled the area before officers arrived, but was located later and taken into custody.
Jaden Burdett has been charged with assault, robbery with violence, resisting a peace officer and public mischief.
Lambton OPP said no injuries were reported.
