Sarnia police investigating Christmas stabbing and robbery

A 30-year-old man is recovering from injuries after being attacked in a Sarnia park.

At around 1:45 a.m. on Christmas Day, police were called to Wiltshire Park near the Howard Watson Trail.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple lacerations. His injuries were deemed non-life threatening, but he was transported to hospital for treatment.

The man claimed he was stabbed by two men who also robbed him of multiple personal items.

It’s believed one of the suspects may have been injured during the altercation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
