Sarnia man killed in Highway 402 crash in Strathroy

One person was killed and three others were taken to the hospital in an early morning single-vehicle crash on Highway 402 near Strathroy-Caradoc.

Middlesex County OPP, Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department and Middlesex-London Paramedic Service responded to the crash at 2:40 a.m. west of Glendon Drive Sunday.

A 20-year-old Sarnia man was pronounced dead on the scene. Three people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Highway 402 westbound was closed between Glendon Drive and Hickory Drive while police with assistance from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team (TIME) investigate.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
