Sarnia police are searching for two suspects after a man was violently attacked near Sarnia's downtown.
At around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 29, officers responded to a report of an injured man, who was alone at a Christina Street North business, near Maxwell Street.
Police said the 43-year-old victim was suffering from head wounds. He was transported to Bluewater Health by paramedics and later released.
Surveillance video allegedly showed the victim sleeping hunched over at an outdoor table, when he was approached by two men on bikes.

Police said one of the suspects stole a red bag containing the victim's belongings and the second struck him over the head 12 times with what appears to be a chain with a makeshift handle.
The two suspects fled the area on bikes leaving the injured victim to be discovered later by an employee leaving the area.
A portion of the weapon was recovered.
The first suspect was seen wearing a grey jacket, black pants, black shoes and a grey backpack.
The second suspect was wearing black pants, a black jacket with Reebok-like lettering. He was wearing black Nike Jordan shoes with white symbols and white soles.
