COVID-19 outbreak declared at Bluewater Health

Those visiting Bluewater Health's Cognitively Complex Continuing Care Unit in Sarnia are being asked to wear a mask now that a COVID-19 outbreak has been declared.

Bluewater Health and Lambton Public Health declared an outbreak in the unit on Thursday, with fewer than 10 patients confirmed positive.

While visitors are still able to see loved ones in the unit, those experiencing cold or flu symptoms are asked to stay home.

The hospital said there are 11 COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health.
