Seven guitars stolen from Petrolia home

Lambton OPP officers are searching for seven guitars that were reported stolen from a Petrolia residence.

On January 6, at around 2:50 p.m., police were called about a break and enter and theft at a home on Short Street that occurred roughly 14 hours earlier.

Police said at around 12:45 a.m. four unknown individuals arrived on the property in a dark-coloured Dodge Ram pickup truck.

They entered the residence and left with the guitars, valued at $3,500.

Police said the investigation is continuing.

Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where they may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
