A Sarnia woman was arrested after she allegedly broke into a home on Wednesday.
Sarnia police were called for a trespass complaint at the intersection of Devine Street and East Street South.
Police said the person who lived in the home had allegedly been incarcerated for a period of time.
While the home was unoccupied, police said the 55-year-old woman was able to enter the home, stealing multiple items.
The stolen items were then sold on the front lawn, prompting neighbours to contact police.
The woman has been charged with break and enter and was held for bail but later released on conditions.
