City police are investigating the discovery of human remains.
The Sarnia Police Service said the human remains were found in the area of Highway 40 and Lasalle Line.
Police investigators along with the coroner's office are working to determine the identity of the remains and the cause of death.
Residents may notice an increased police presence in the area while the investigation is conducted, and the scene is thoroughly processed.
Sarnia police said further details will be released, if suitable, when they are available.
