Lukas Fischer scored a hat-trick, including the game winner in the Sarnia Sting's 6-2 victory over the visiting Sudbury Wolves Friday night.
Matthew Manza scored his first career OHL goal for the Sting in front of a sold out crowd at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
"Nice play in front, just kind of threw it on net and hoped, " said Manza. "Got a lucky bounce."
The 17-year-old officially joined the OHL club on Monday, after the Sting acquired the rights to Manza from the Kingston Frontenacs on January 7.
"Great to be welcomed by all the guys and coaching staff, it was really good to meet the billets and everyone," said Manza.
Easton Wainwright and Zach Filak also scored in the win. Sting netminder Nick Surzycia made 19 saves in net.
The Sarnia Sting are off until Friday, January 24 when they host the Windsor Spitfires.
