Sarnia's Special Olympics curling team -- the "Super Rockers" -- is hosting its first Funspiel tournament this Saturday, February 1 at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club.
The one-day event is set to bring together 39 athletes, from 10 southwestern Ontario teams, for a "fun-filled competition celebrating sportsmanship and camaraderie."
"Spectators are warmly invited to attend and cheer on the athletes from the club's curling lounge, which will be open to the public for the duration of the event," a media release read.
Games are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
