A 37-year-old man from Oakland, Michigan is facing charges for trying to cross the Blue Water Bridge into Canada while allegedly impaired.
Lambton OPP and Canada Border Services Agency officers responded to the scene on February 6 at around 11:15 p.m.
The accused is charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and having a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
Their licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded for a week. The accused has been released from police custody and will appear in court in Sarnia on March 5.
