LPH seeking dog, owner after biting incident

Lambton Public Health is looking for a dog and its owner after someone was bit in Sarnia's Blackwell Trails area between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, February 10.

The dog was medium sized with brown fur, and resembled a boxer.

It was being walked by a female who was carrying a walkie-talkie and is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 or toll-free 1-800-667-1839.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
