The Sarnia Golf and Curling Club is celebrating 150 years in the community this weekend.
The 150 Curling Anniversary Bonspiel will be held on Saturday.
There will be curling draws taking place at 8:45 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., with novice/beginner, intermediate and advanced competitors.
The event will feature special guest speaker Olympic gold medalist Brad Jacobs.
Jacobs has also had 15 Brier appearances, one Brier championship, one World Championship silver and seven Grand Slam victories.
The club will be packed with a historic memorabilia display in the Ambassador room, a cocktail reception and dinner.
"The special collection showcases many treasures pieces of our club and curling's rich history," said the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club.
Anyone wishing to participate in the bonspiel can still register for the open event Saturday.
Registrants will be asked which level of play will be suitable for them.
The cost to enter is $125 per person or $500 per team. There will also be a dinner and guest only option for $95.
