The health unit said the incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. or 9 p.m. on East Parkway Drive.

The dog was described as resembling a mastiff and lab mix, with dark brown and black fur.

LPH said the dog was unaccompanied by an owner.

Anyone with information about the dog and its owner is asked to contact LPH at 519-383-8331 or toll-free 1-800-667-1839.
