Petrolia resident charged with damaging window

A Petrolia resident is facing mischief charges after an incident in Plympton-Wyoming on Family Day.

Lambton County OPP was called to a business on London Line around 7 p.m. on Monday, February 17

According to police, an individual attended the business and after an interaction with staff, damaged a window and fled.

A 50-year-old resident of Petrolia has been arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000 and resisting a peace officer.

The accused was held pending a bail hearing and has since been released.

They're scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on April 1.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
