Comedy show supports medical care for local animals

It's a chance to support animals in need, while having a few laughs at the same time.

The Sarnia and District Humane Society will host the "Raise the WOOF Dinner and Comedy Show" on Saturday, February 22 at Huron Oaks Golf Club in Bright's Grove.

Comedians Mike Geeter with Paul Montanier will headline the evening, and the Nineteenth Hole restaurant will be serving up a chicken and ribs buffet with all the fixings.

All of the money goes toward special medical care for animals at the humane society.

Tickets were $75 and have since sold out.
