Police probing cause of Queen Street fire

The Sarnia Police Service and fire investigators are looking into the cause of a fire on Queen Street.

The blaze broke out on Monday morning, at an apartment building near Talfourd Street.

According to a Facebook post from Sarnia Fire Rescue, all occupants escaped and crews were able to quickly knock down the fire.

Two cats were pulled from the unit and safely reunited with their owner.

Police and fire crews were on scene for the afternoon as the investigation continued.
