OPP: Driver disobeys stop sign in crash

Lambton OPP say a 61-year-old from St. Clair Township has been charged with disobeying a stop sign in a two-vehicle collision in Enniskillen Township.

Police, along with the Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department and Lambton EMS, were called to the intersection of Broadway Street and Churchill Line on Wednesday at around 7:50 a.m.

The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to tip onto its side.

The roadway was closed for several hours before reopening.

The OPP said both drivers were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with an urgent traffic complaint or who suspects an impaired driver, is urged to call 911 immediately.
