According to Bluewater Power, an unplanned outage at around 7:30 p.m. Sunday impacted customers in the central and downtown area.
Power was fully restored shortly before 3:30 a.m. Monday.
The utility said equipment failure was to blame for the lengthy outage.
Police say a 41-year-old resident of Walpole Island is charged after officers seized guns and drugs in a bust last week.
Charges have been laid against two people from the Greater Toronto Area in connection to a series of thefts in Sarnia and Chatham-Kent, but police believe there may be other incidents.
