Armed robbery investigated at Strathroy Tim Horton's

The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service has released surveillance images of a suspect as officers investigate an armed robbery at a Tim Horton's on Saturday.

Police responded to reports of a robbery in progress at the location on Front Street in Strathroy at around 5:30 a.m. on March 15.

It's alleged a male suspect, armed with a butcher-style knife, entered the drive-thru on foot and demanded money from staff.

"The suspect fled the scene on foot before police arrived. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a slim-built male, Caucasian, dark eyes, approximately 5'10"- 6'2" tall, 180 to 220 pounds, 30 to 50 years old, wearing a black sweater turned inside out with a plaid pattern, a light grey hoodie, dark pants, black shoes, and a black mask and gloves," Strathroy police said in a post on Facebook on Monday.
