Brief period of freezing rain with minor ice accretion on some surfaces possible.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy, slippery and hazardous.

When:
Wednesday morning to early Wednesday evening.

Additional information:
A brief period of freezing rain is possible before a transition to rain. For locations near Lake Ontario, temperatures will likely remain above the freezing mark.

Rain, at times heavy. Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm. Locally higher amounts are possible if thunderstorms repeatedly impact the same area.

Wednesday morning through early Thursday morning.

Rain begins Wednesday morning over extreme southwestern Ontario before reaching the Golden Horseshoe Wednesday afternoon. With thunderstorms expected, rainfall amounts may exceed 50 mm over some areas, particularly over southwestern Ontario. Rain will end from west to east overnight into early Thursday morning.

Provincial police are asking for tips to help identify someone accused of shoplifting from a store in Grand Bend.Lambton OPP said the suspect went into a business on Main Street on March 28, at around 2:40 p.m.She allegedly took a purse and left the store without trying to pay for the item.Police describe her as being white with dark hair. She wore a black baseball cap, a black hoodie, dark-coloured pants, and brown shoes.She was last seen leaving the area on a blue bicycle.Anyone with information is asked to contact Lambton OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
