Vehicle, school bus collide during morning commute

Lambton OPP say no injuries were reported after a vehicle collided with a school bus on Monday morning in Plympton-Wyoming.

Emergency crews were called to Fleming Road, north of Lakeshore Road, just after 7 a.m.

Police said there were student passengers on the bus at the time, but everyone made it out safely.

A 41-year-old Camlachie resident was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with careless driving.

The OPP is reminding all drivers to slow down, be prepared to stop for school buses, always maintain a safe following distance and stay alert.
