Over $20,000 in drugs were recently seized by Sarnia police.
Members of the Sarnia Police Major Case Action Team (MCAT) executed search warrants at homes on Euphemia Street and Russell Street Thursday, April 3.
Officers seized 145.49 grams of fentanyl, 0.33 grams of cocaine, Dilaudid pills or hydromorphone, 187.09 grams of an unknown substance believed to be a fentanyl-cutting agent, as well as $965 in cash.
Sarnia police said the estimated street value of the seized controlled substances is $21,941.50.
A 47-year-old Sarnia woman was arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of release order.
Members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and K9 unit assisted with the investigation.
