Charges laid in Dawn-Euphemia crash

One person has been charged with impaired driving, and another with failing to yield, after a two-vehicle crash in Dawn-Euphemia.

Lambton OPP said it happened at the intersection of Robson Road and Edys Mills Line on Thursday, April 3, just after 4:45 p.m.

A 40-year-old from Dawn-Euphemia Township was charged with having a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.

Their driver's licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded for a week.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on April 29.

A 65-year-old from Dresden was charged with failing to yield to traffic on through highway.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
