If you've ever wanted to learn about archival research, now is your chance.
Lambton County Archives will host free Introduction to Archival Research sessions this spring at the Petrolia and Alvinston libraries.
Archivist/Supervisor Nicole Aszalos said participants will receive an overview of the many resources available through Lambton County Archives and Lambton County Library.
“Archives play a vital role in the preserving the stories, records, and memories of our community," Aszalos said. "These sessions will teach participants about the important work archives do, as well as how they can access valuable research resources through Lambton County Archives and Lambton County Library. By bringing this program directly to libraries, we’re excited to connect with more people across Lambton County and help them discover how Lambton County Archives can support their research and connection to local history.”
Archival and library staff will be at the Petrolia Library on Tuesday, April 29, and at the Alvinston Library on Monday, May 26.
Registration is required for the sessions.
