Teens accused of conspiring to commit murder

A 13-year-old from Warwick and a 15-year-old from Sarnia have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Lambton OPP said officers were called about a potential threat to multiple people at an undisclosed address in Warwick Township on February 12.

An investigation resulted in two youths being arrested. They cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

OPP said the two were held for bail hearings and have since been released with a future court date in Sarnia.

Investigators said it's believed this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
