Second annual pickleball tournament underway at Lambton College

The Sarnia Lambton Pickleball Club (SLPC) will host its second annual Spring SMASH Tournament over the next three days in a bid to raise funds for a permanent home for the club.

The pickleball tournament will be held at Lambton College's Cestar Recreation and Fitness Complex from May 2 to May 4.

According to pickleballbrackets.com, 139 people registered for the event.

The tournament will include men's, women's doubles, and mixed doubles competitions. 

During the tournament's inaugural year, participants from across southwestern Ontario and the U.S. (Pennsylvania) travelled to the area for the event.  

The SLPC plans to have a permanent facility with indoor and outdoor courts.
