Lambton OPP said first responders were called to the intersection of Brigden Road and Petrolia Line at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, May 2.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries, and one passenger was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with failing to yield to traffic.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
