A 31-year-old Thedford man and a 25-year-old Ajax resident have been charged in a drug investigation that began in March.
Lambton OPP said officers conducted a traffic stop on Deacon Street in Thedford on April 30 as part of an ongoing investigation.
An unspecified amount of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, Canadian currency, and other offence-related property was seized.
Police said the combined estimated value of the items seized was over $6,500.
The Thedford man was charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking - fentanyl, and possession of a Schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine
The Ajax resident was charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking - fentanyl.
The accused were both released from police custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on June 4.
