Sarnia man arrested for break-and-enter at motel

A 25-year-old Sarnia man is charged for a break and enter at a local motel.

At around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, officers were called to a London Line motel.

They were told that a man had forced his way into the units and was still in the area.

Police say the man allegedly broke in looking for another man, demanding illegal substances while uttering death threats.

When they arrived, they found the suspect running from the motel. He was later found hiding in a nearby restaurant.

The man was arrested and charged with break and enter and uttering threats.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
