At around 7:30 a.m., a transport truck rolled onto its side on the eastbound highway near Mandaumin Road, blocking traffic.
Lambton OPP said the eastbound lanes between Mandaumin Road and Oil Heritage Road were expected to remain closed for several hours.
Motorists were encouraged to take an alternate route while the scene was cleared.
The eastbound lanes reopened to traffic at around 1:30 p.m.
