Sarnia Sting host development camp

Sarnia Sting fans will be able to catch a glimpse of the organization's newest prospects, recent draft picks, and invited free agents.

The 2025 Development Camp is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 29 and Friday, May 30 at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

Players will begin with private team activities, such as fitness testing and team building, on Thursday. The expectations that come with being a part of the Ontario Hockey League and the Sarnia Sting will also be outlined.

A round-robin tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday, where players will be split into three teams: Team Stamkos, Team Kyrou, and Team Konecny.

All games will be held on Rink 2, and community members are encouraged to attend.

A schedule for Friday can be found below:

9 a.m. – Team Stamkos vs. Team Kyrou

9:45 a.m. – Team Kyrou vs. Team Konecny

10:30 a.m. – Team Konecny vs. Team Stamkos

1:30 p.m. – Team Kyrou vs. Team Stamkos

2:15 p.m. – Team Stamkos vs. Team Konecny

3 p.m. – Team Konecny vs. Team Kyrou

4 p.m. – Finals
